Approach

From smart appliances to satellites, artificial intelligence to internet culture this exhibition at the the V&A brought together 100 objects that questioned the landscape of possibilities in the near future.

Recent exhibitions at the V&A were communicated with a single iconic image, this was not the case with The Future Starts Here.

The challenge was to communicate a highly conceptual show, a collection of objects tied together with a common theme. Drawing inspiration from the subjects tackled in the exhibition a set of provocative, funny, dark and thought provoking questions were developed.

A unified visual language was required to communicate both in the museum and out of home. A recognisable colour palette and bold type together with a hint of tech were used.  Creating a short hand for the public to understand the themes and tone of the show.

Over one hundred digital, print, marketing and exhibition assets were delivered as part of this cohesive project.
